Cue the happy dances all over because Bridgit Mendler isn’t ruling out any sort of Good Luck Charlie reunion.
The 22-year-old Undateable actress answered fan questions on Facebook on Tuesday night (April 21) and opened up about her GLC fam.
“I love the cast and I think there is definitely a chance of a GLC reunion,” Bridgit shared after one fan asked about any possible reunion. ” I was on Good Luck Charlie for longer so it will always be an important part of me but Undateable is the world I’m in right now so I feel very connected to it.”
Bridgit added about her new Undateable family: “I miss disney! I loved working there so much. But NBC has been so kind to me and the cast and crew of Undateable is another family so I’m grateful for that.”
It’s goodbye, Charlie! After four seasons on the air, Disney Channel’s most popular show, “Good Luck Charlie,” is coming to an end, and we’ve got some thoughts about the show from its star, Bridgit Mendler.
The finale, titled “Goodbye Charlie,” has Mendler’s character, Teddy Duncan, headed off to Yale, leaving behind her supersize family, a catalog of video diaries, and (sigh!) her on-and-off boyfriend, Spencer Walsh (Shane Harper).
Here’s what the “Good Luck Charlie” star told Yahoo TV about the finale, her offscreen romance with her onscreen love interest, her future plans, and the set item she kept.
On what she’ll miss the most about “Good Luck Charlie”
“I think I’ll really miss the Duncans,” the 21-year-old actress said. “I think the characters and the dynamic that we all developed together was so fun, and by the end it just felt so effortless. It’s like you’re parting with a person when you leave your character, especially when you’re working on something for that long.”
On working with baby Charlie
“Mia [Talerico] was the most impressive baby I’ve ever worked with. It was fun going through all her different stages of babyhood with her.”
On dating co-star Shane Harper
“We knew each other for a while, were friends for a long time,” Mendler revealed. “And I think it was just one of those things where it kind of gradually turned into more. I think it’s great that we knew each other for so long beforehand, so we were really friends.”
On being cautious about dating someone she worked with
“I think everybody was very respectful about it and wanted to make sure that it wouldn’t be weird to see the relationship going on on the show at the same time. It was wonderful the way that everybody was kind of a family and looked out for each other.”
On what’s next
“I’ve been buckling down to work on album number two for the past few months,” the multitalented star and Save the Children ambassador said. “I would love to get more acting roles, but for the time being I’m focusing on music.”
On other Disney darlings turned gossip staple
“I think it’s a really interesting transition time for any young woman,” Mendler said when asked about the career paths of former Disney stars Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, and Selena Gomez. “Starting a TV show as a teenager and leaving it as an adult — you kind of enter into the real world after this time that you were in this safe little bubble. I think it’s really a gift to do those years through the channel. I applaud those ladies.”
A few of Mendler’s favorite “Good Luck Charlie” things
Favorite episode: “Battle of the Bands.” “I had a lot of friends in that,” she said. “I like when there’s interesting combinations of people on the show.”
Favorite guest star: “I have my natural bias toward my boyfriend,” she said with a laugh. “But there’ve been a lot of special guest stars. I loved having my other friends; Samantha Boscarino was on the show. Raven [Goodwin] was also really special; she was on the show through the entire time. And another really special one was the Muppets.”
Favorite moment on the show: “The thing is, it’s not one moment,” Mendler told us. “The beautiful thing about having a family on set is the constant safety and comfort and joy of knowing and enjoying the people you’re with. I think that’s kind of the cool thing; it’s not about having one special thing, it’s every day being together and knowing each other.”
Favorite memento from the set: “I got the chair in the living room, the big green and blue one,” Mendler dished. “A little piece of the Duncan living room.”
Favorite diary tip Teddy gave to Charlie: You’ll have to watch the finale to get the answer. “I don’t want to give away what she says in the last video diary,” the actress says of her favorite sisterly advice.
“Good Luck Charlie” series finale airs on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. on Disney Channel.

Goodbye and good luck, Good Luck Charlie. The Disney Channel sitcom will end its four-season run with a one-hour episode on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 8/7c.
The hit series will end with Teddy (Bridgit Mendler) leaving for college and struggling to shoot one final video diary for her young sister Charlie (Mia Talerico). Also in the episode, parents Amy and Bob Duncan (Leigh-Allyn Baker and Eric Allan Kramer) are planning a going-away party for Teddy, while a surprise guest – Teddy’s former boyfriend, Spencer – shows up unexpectedly.
Good Luck Charlie premiered in April 2010 and ultimately aired more than 100 episodes. Highlights of the show’s run included the June 2012 episode featuring the birth of baby Toby, which attracted 8.9 million viewers. The Disney Channel original movie Good Luck Charlie: It’s Christmas averaged 8.3 million viewers when it premiered in December 2011, making it cable’s most-watched live-action movie that year.
More recently, Good Luck Charlie made headlines for featuring a family with two moms – a Disney Channel first. In the week leading up to the finale, favorite episodes selected by cast members will air, starting with Mendler’s pick on Monday, Feb. 10, followed by Jason Dolley (Tuesday, Feb. 11), Bradley Steven Perry (Wednesday, Feb. 12), Kramer (Thursday, Feb. 13) and Baker (Friday, Feb. 14). Phil Baker and Drew Vaupen (Suddenly Susan) created Good Luck Charlie and executive produce with Dan Staley (Cheers).

“Thank you for the birthday wishes everyone!! Here in Cali the countdown is on, six more hours!” Bridgit wrote earlier in the week.
She added day of to her fans, “Thank you all for such sweet birthday messages! I am so touched by all of your love thank you for making my bday special :)”

The Disney Channel is kicking off the season with a brand new crossover special, Good Luck Jessie: N.Y.C Christmas! Leading the way will be the week-long Home for the Holidays event, featuring Bridget Mendler in an hour long block of Good Luck Charlie, each weeknight at 7.p.m.
This will not be either series first crack at a crossover episode. The GLC gang previously shook it up with Bella Thorne and Zendaya, while Jessie rocked out with Austin and Ally. The Duncan clan previously had an extended holiday adventure in the 2011 movie, Good Luck Charlie: It’s Christmas. However, this Christmas looks like the family’s last one on the Disney Channel. Earlier this year, it was announced that the fourth season of Good Luck Charlie would be its last. A rep for the Disney Channel released a statement that read:
Good Luck Jessie: N.Y.C Christmas airs the Friday night on the Disney Channel.
