This past Valentine’s Day was the first one that I actually celebrated with a special someone. My boyfriend’s birthday is on Valentine’s Day, which makes it a little bit tricky because I’m getting him all these birthday presents and it’s his day. But then he gives me stuff because it’s Valentine’s Day.

But I made him blueberry-lemon-poppy seed muffins and got him a nice watch. So there’s a serious gift and a food gift. I reap the benefits of that one, though, because I get chocolates and flowers on his birthday.
